Education and English
Althougth Jenny couldn't speak clearly, at age eight her vocabulary exceeded that of other 8-year-olds. Poor health prevented her from attending school regularly, so Jenny's dad bought her a computer. Jenny studied at home, and her health continued to improve. It improved so much that she began to walk at age 12. Then at 15, Jenny discovered something that opened the door to the rest of the world: English.

Jenny can type with her ring and litter finger but can't write by hand. Because of this, she had to learn English strictly through memorization. Her mom helped by circling unfamiliar words in Studio Classroom, the English magazine she studied. Jenny then looked the words up in an e-dictionary. Soon she could read entire articles without help. After six years of studying English, Jenny started to work as a freelance translator.

A family victory
With a deep sense of responsibility and love, Jenny's parents never give up on her. Following in her parents'footsteps, Jenny someday hopes to help others with disabilities become confident and independent individuals.
