Police in Seattle are investigating a deadly shooting in the university district. Someone opened fire at a café on Wednesday, gunning down as many as five people. Nearby schools were immediately placed on lockdown.

President Obama says he’s looking forward to an important and healthy debate about America’s future with the Republican opponent Mitt Romney. President called the former Massachusetts governor to congratulate him on securing the GOP nomination.

Judge who sentenced the former New Jersey College student to 30 days in jail for using a webcam to spy his gay roommate says the sentence is harsh enough. Dharun Ravi’s roommate committed suicide after he found out the spy. Ravi is expected to start his sentence from Thursday.

Julian Assange is one step closer to being prosecuted in a Scandinavian Court. Britain Supreme Court has endorsed his extradition to Sweden. Assange, the head of Wikileaks, is facing sex crime allegations against him.
