真爱

Based on the novel "Push" by American writer Sapphire, Precious tells the story of an obese, illiterate 16-year-old living with her abusive mother in 1980s Harlem, and her attempts to improve her life. The film was nominated for six awards; Mo'Nique won Supporting Actress for her role.

Quentin Tarantino's typically gory and compelling effort follows two simultaneous attempts to assassinate the political leadership of Germany's Nazi Government during the Second World War. The film, starring Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz, was nominated for eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.

Much of the film was shot in and around the German spa town of Bad Schandau, on the banks of the Elbe, near the border with the Czech Republic. Holidaymakers can follow in the footsteps of Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds on a walking tour of the region.
