After being diagnosed for your illness by a doctor, you may be prescribed medicine. The doctor will write you a prescription that you need to take to a pharmacy to get filled. The prescription will be a small sheet of paper detailing what medicine you should take, how you should take it, and for what length of time it is needed. The pharmacist, however, may have a question or two for you. He or she will often ask if you want the name brand or generic brand version of your drug treatment. There should be no difference in quality but there will be a difference in price. The generic drug treatment will usually be cheaper so if given the choice, go generic and still get well. If you have any more questions, the pharmacist should be on hand to answer them before you leave.
当病症确诊后，医生会给你开药。医生会写一个药方，你需要拿着它去药房抓药。药方是一张小纸条，上面详述了你需要的药品，服药说明，服药间隔。 配药师可能会问你一个或两个问题。他经常会问你是要名牌的还是要普通的药品。在质量上应该没有差别，但是在价格上会有不同。普通药品通常很便宜，所以如果可以选择的话，你就选普通药品，仍然见效。 如果你有其他的问题，配药师会在你离开之前当场解答。
