The mothers of three Americans being held and jailed in Iran are coming home without their children. All six got to meet one more time today before the moms were taken to the airport. They had hoped to meet with top Iranian officials before they left. But that meeting never materialized.
BP is hoping a pile of mud can stop oil from spewing into the Gulf of Mexico. The so-called “top kill” plan involves pumping heavy mud over a broken pipe and hopes they will plug it up. The effort could begin Tuesday.

President Barack Obama’s life has been turned into a movie at least designed as a child. The filming has begun in Indonesia about his time there. With looking at the child actor who portrays the future president, the film is set to open during the president’s trip to Indonesia next month.
