策略:改编问句

许多学生描述时,往往只能根据话题相关的问题给出一个简短的回答,而不能说出完整的较长句子;再次出现辞穷的状况。

针对这种情况,专家建议考生可以将话题下的问句改编为名词性从句,一方面可以使句式更为复杂,同时考官也能明确了解学生在回答哪个问题。有时候话题下的问句就是以陈述句形式出现的,这样更改起来就更加方便了。但需要注意的是,如果问题与人相关,则可以视具体情况去除与人相关的问句。

在改编句型后,可在句子前加上“As for”,“Talking about”,“Speaking of”等引起下文的句式,可以使得词汇更为多样化。

仍以上题为例:

Describe a family member you spend most time with

You should say:

Who is the person?

How long have you been together

What do you do together

And explain why you'd like to spend time with this person.
