Steven: Is there any activity or party you have to go even though you don’t like it?

Giorgia: I started to do volunteer job for children with handicap around fourteen years old.
Now with my music I hope to make everybody happy, so it’s really natural for me to do the job and that’s my desire. Some people don’t have the same chances compared with normal people. Let them know that it is not handicap that make them different, they are wonderful too. They can teach us so many beautiful things and they can help us to be more true, more ourselves. This is what they taught me. I have some fans who I met in concert. Some of them live on wheelchair, some of them are my friends. They wrote to me. There is an association in Canada with people of handicap. The association helps those people to remove the barrier, help them find job and to live a happy and normal life. So I hope through my voice could help those people and association. To make them realize that we are very similar, we are one family.

Steven: How do you appreciate music when you don’t understand the lyric?
Giorgia: The melody is really important. Actually sometimes it’s even better if you understand the lyric. Of cause I hope there are beautiful lyrics about peace, love and friendship. Sometimes you don’t understand the lyric, then you just transport by the music itself. In my album, there is one song that was sang in fake language, there is no real meaning but I loved it because it’s even more universal.

Steven: Do you know any Chinese athlete? Who is your favorite?

Giorgia: In this Olympics, China is so great, there are so many champions. I love the diving, basketball too. I saw a wonderful athlete two days ago on TV, she is on the wheelchair, Sang Lan.
