Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton met with a representative of the Libyan opposition this morning. The meeting was ahead of a broader conference on political solutions to secure Moammar Gadhafi's exit. The visit follows President Obama's speech outlining U.S. policy in Libya.

Tens of thousands of Syrians are rallying in a central Damascus square in support of President Bashar Assad. The Syrian president is facing the biggest challenge to his 11-year rule as anti-government protests grow. Security forces launched a swift crackdown on Friday, leaving several demonstrators dead.

A massive gender discrimination suit against Walmart goes before the Supreme Court today. The Court won't decide the merits of the case, but whether it can proceed as a class action. Walmart has argued that female employees claiming discrimination should sue individually.

And it's one month to go until the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Royal Mail unveiled a series of commemorative stamps that will go on sale next month. And staff at Buckingham Palace are already polishing the glassware for the VIP reception after the big event.
