I am not all about makeup, makeup is just something I do for fun, but my passion is art. I attend Ringling College of Art and Design, and majoring in Illustration. I originally wanted to go Med School to become a Dermatologist, but art is my true passion.

Her career started from the comfort of her home, filming a simple makeup tutorial that inspired the online makeup tutorial phenomenon. Michelle's YouTube Channel features makeup tutorials that have surpassed 50 million views worldwide. One of her most popular video is the Lady Gaga makeup tutorial, where she demonstrates how to create the Lady Gaga signature avant garde look, which received over 7 million views. She has appeared in Seventeen magazine in USA and Singapore as one of their "Beauty Smarties", LA Runway Magazine, German magazine Peach and Newspapers from around the world.

Born in Massachusetts, Michelle began her artistic training at the tender age of 13. She learned how to paint with watercolors and oils. Later on she incorporated her techniques onto the face instead of a stretched canvas. Michelle attended Ringling College of Art and Design where she specialized in illustration, but it wasn't until her online popularity that inspired her to fully embrace the makeup industry.

Michelle's philosophy is to not only teach the everyday woman how to apply makeup, but to show how makeup can help empower them. Her makeup tutorials have inspired thousands to pick up their makeup again and experiment with new colors and techniques. She believes that makeup is another form of art, and the face is the canvas. Some of her looks are inspired from her everyday surroundings, like the summer sunset look. Others are inspired by story books and dreams like the masquerade and a cartoon look. Most are inspired by everyday dilemma that people tend to overlook, like makeup for glasses, makeup in a hurry, mascara smudges, eyeliner for shaky hands and much more.

Michelle has a signature video style. Black and white titles, with soothing music playing in the background narrated by her gentle voice. Her voice has a metered, lullaby quality. Commenters call her the Bob Ross of makeup. She's been called the Macgyver of beauty. Turning something used everyday into a beauty related tool. She taught hundreds of thousands how to take an aspirin tablet and turn it into a medicated mask for acne. Another popular tip, is taking a business card and turning it into a mascara and eyeshadow shield and an eyeliner stencil. An eco friendly way to curl the hair using recycled paper bags. Even a way to get every last drop of lipgloss by placing the near empty lipgloss in a warm cup to collect the rest of the remaining lipgloss stuck on the sides, the results? A half full lipgloss. Last, perhaps her most popular everyday tip viewed by millions is demonstrating how to stretch tight fitting shoes with frozen bags of water.
