President Barack Obama spent several hours Tuesday with three of his top security advisers, talking about the botched Christmas Day attack on the U.S. airliner. Those advisers, including Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, are reviewing airline passenger screening procedures and the U.S. terror watch-list system.

A tsunami has left about one-third of the population on the Solomon Island homeless, but officials say it could have been worse. Authorities say lives were spared because people remembered previous disasters and quickly moved to higher ground.

Los Angles authorities are trying to determine the cause of death for the heiress to the Johnson & Johnson empire. Casey Johnson was found dead in her Calif home Monday morning. The 30-year-old socialite had diabetes but it's unclear if that played a role in her death.

These giant panda cubs are getting ready for a six-month span of this year's World Expo in China. All ten pandas were born at a reserve in 2008 after a deadly earthquake struck Sichuan Province.
