The truck whose oversize load caused the collapse of an interstate bridge in Washington State was hauling drilling equipment from Canada. The truck struck several trusses on the bridge Thursday night, causing it to collapse, dumping cars and people into the SkagitRiver. 
 
A U.K. fighter jet was scrambled to divert a plane travelling from Pakistan to Britain. A British security official says two men were arrested on suspicion of endangering an aircraft. But they say the incident doesn't appear to be terror-related.
 
Actress Amanda Bynes has been charged with reckless endangerment after police say she threw a marijuana bong out of a New York City apartment window. She appeared in court Friday wearing a long, disheveled blond wig and was released on her own recognizance.
 
And in Virginia, the third U.S. Infantry placed flags at the grave markers of those buried in Arlington National Cemetery ahead of Memorial Day. The practice is known as "flags in" and has been carried out for 40 years.
