Today we will review the growth path of China's own rock music history and how a foreigner is making efforts to bring this made-in-China rock to the world. And we will also take an up-close look at folk music from the roof of the world, Tibet. And last but not least, we will hear the story of how unique tasting Mongolian milk tea is traveling from kitchen to cafes. Very interesting stories ahead, stay tuned. When people think of Chinese music, they probably imagine revered Beijing opera or traditional Chinese instruments. Typically, most people in the West aren't even fully aware that China has its own rock and roll music. Language barriers and lack of exposure have kept many of China's contemporary rock bands out of the world's musical arenas. But for people like Canadian Jonathan Campbell, who have watched China's rock scene grow, they are trying to bring China's "red rock" to the rest of the world.
