The virtual fashion and design boutique , and Dean and Dan Caten, twin designers behind the glamorous Dsquared2 brand, hosted celebrities and their furry VIP friends at an exclusive luncheon to preview the launch of Dsquared's limited edition leash and collar set for dogs, which will be available exclusively through the Yoox online pet boutique starting mid November 2010.

Designer Dan Caten talks about their cooperation with the fashion website.

"It's actually two special things that we have done for Yoox. Because they have this new pet shop online store, we did these two special collars that you can only find there. One is like a middle sized dog and one is for small dogs."

Oscar winner Anjelica Huston, who attended the event, says,

"Well I love dogs and a big animal lover in the first place. I really encourage adopting from shelters because there are so many dogs there who are sweet loving wonderful animals. Who are just dying to come into a family and get looked after. So it seems to me to go to breeders when you can actually save big, I don't know. I always like mutts the best anyway."

Celebrity Paris Hilton, holding her new puppy, Peter Pan, explains why adopting a dog is important.

"I just think animal abuse and things that go on and people are not aware of unless you look into, it's hard to even imagine. But there are so many animals out there that are getting abused every day, or not fed, or they don't have home, or they are being put to sleep. Because there is no room in the shelters, so it's something that people should be aware of. That is way its important and I like to be a part of causes like this all the time."

Actress Rumer Willis, an animal lover, prefers getting dogs from rescues.

"I am a big advocate getting dogs from rescues as opposed to pet stores. Just because there are so many puppy mills and so many dogs that need homes. Anything that can bring more attention to this I am all about."

Actress Teresa Palmer, a big fan of Dsquared2, speaks highly of the brand and this limited edition line.

"I have actually been affiliated with Much Love (an animal rescue organization) previously. It is such a wonderful organization. You know they rescue so many dogs and cats and other animals every year. I just think it's a really great cause. I am a really big fan of Dsquared2. I think it's really great that they have partnered up to release this line. It's very interesting and very edgy."

The proceeds from the launch, underwritten by , and sales of these dog collars and leashes will benefit MUCH LOVE ANIMAL RESCUE, a 100-percent nonprofit organization dedicated to finding safe, loving homes for unwanted, neglected or abused animals.
