To the designer, the manager seemed relaxed enough and did not appear to be alarmed nor stressed by whatever was discussed in the phone conversation. The drinks arrived promptly. By the time they were talking about the menu selection of the club, the staff member brought the ordered food to the table. At this time, the main club floor was getting busier as people were getting started with the happy hour. The crowd was not rowdy. Besides, there was a fair bit of distance between the main club bar area and the VIP section, so the noise was not distracting.
