中国的网民经常感叹国内富人能够通过支付罚款轻松绕过独生子女政策的限制。但中国政府对于一位名人超生的处罚似乎是想改变这一看法。
中国无锡滨湖区计生局在其新浪官方微博上宣布，知名导演张艺谋及其妻子陈婷将因生育三个子女而被处以人民币748万元（合120万美元）罚款。
在张艺谋遭罚的消息公布后，人们的反应没有多大改变，许多网民认为，像张艺谋这样的知名导演完全付得起这一罚金。一名网民称，富人有钱可以依仗，所以什么都不怕。另一名网民表示，难怪许多中国人想要移民，普通人根本承受不起这样的罚款。与此同时，也有一位网民建议，如果那些违反计划生育的人要被罚款，那么政府是不是应该奖励那些决定不生育子女的人。

Actually, I have not paid close attention to the Zhang Yimou event because it totally has nothing to do with my life. But I am also interested in the amount of the fine. At the very start of the event, the rumour had it that Zhang Yimou would be fined 160 million yuan for birth violations, but eventually according to the report the local authorities issued, Director Zhang needs to pay 7.48 million yuan fine within 30 days. Even though many people still doubt that Zhang had taken advantage of his fame and status to receive preferential treatment, I prefer to regard this result as just and legal. The standard of fine for excess births changes according to the specific condition of difference provinces. In Zhang's case, the total amount of fine was calculated based on the couple's income and the cost of social maintenance. As a well-known director, Zhang can afford to pay the hefty fine, but it does not mean inequity when it refers to birth violation. Why are people always so interested in celebrities' life? Maybe it's just because many people of us would feel resentful toward the rich, or talking gossip on celebrities has become our nature. As far as I'm concerned, although this event will bring damage to Director Zhang's fame, he also get the world's most precious thing in return. From now on, he could enjoy the relationship with his children in public, no need to fear the public eye.
