- Share us a story about library in your life.

- What's the library's impact in your study and working road?

- What's the library's influence on our society? or what should the library's influence on our society?

- DIY a topic about library.

范例1:

Since human beings’ first library – Library of Alexandria, was built up in the Egypt’s Ptolemaic dynasty around 3rd century B.C., the library has become a torch enlightening people’s ignorant and dumb mind. By reading our ancestors’ transcripts, we inherited our society’s tradition and culture, expanded them and handed them down to our posterity. If there hadn’t a central storage house, like library, the society’s precious legacy could only have been passed down orally like a song which could be easily lost in the people’s movement. In history, each civilised dynasty established libraries or museums proudly to boast their own civilisation or show off exquisite articles what they had plundered from other countries in the name of protecting them from war.
However, as the picture illustrates, library is also the most vulnerable victims during the people’s conflicts because the best way to conquer the people is to destroy their collective culture which are all epitomised in library and museum. And vice versa, the best way to defy the invasion is to silently but bravely keep their own culture as the three gentlemen did in the World War II. Even though they were not fighting in the fierce battlefield, what they did could make the enemy fear most.
Above all, no matter in peaceful time or war time, libraries are also people’s spirit harbour which people don’t drift away.

范例2:

Jorge Luis Borges, the well-known Argentine writer has ever said that if the paradise really exits, it must be molded like a library. It is a lofty compliment, which, however, is of no exaggeration. When I am asked what the most unforgettable memory is in my past undergraduate period, the answer is definitely "my beloved library."

Library is a rich treasure of knowledge. In order to break the limitation of my major, I wildly accepted knowledge of different fields, such as psychology, politics, philosophy and so forth. All the classic books I read help me form an upright world outlook and I believe the rest of life will be benefited.

Library is a heaven in which I am fortunate enough to encounter those great souls and purify my own heart. I meet Shakespeare. He teaches me how to find beauty in life. I get acquainted with Helen Keller, who asks me to be persistent no matter how hard the life is. Communicating with them, gradually, I find the quality of my personality sublimed.

Furthermore, in the library leaves my sweetest but also bitterest memory. When I was a sophomore, I came across a boy who was in shining yellow shirt and indulged himself in History of English Literature. His profile was so attractive that this was the first time I found my heart palpitating excitingly. Day after day, he sat in the same spot and became the main motivation to go to library. His every detailed action stirred my mood. However, two months later, he never appeared and I knew he would never come. He graduated. It was the library that witnessed my puppy love.

I love library. I feel grateful for its company during my youthful time, the most beautiful time in my life.
