背景介绍：

The Chinese Football Association(CFA) put up 3 letters of apology on its official website for the 1-5 drubbing in the match against Thailand in June.
The humiliating defeat is still fresh in our memory, and another national team continues bringing "wonderful performance".
After losing 96-78 to Chinese Taipei for the first time at the quarterfinals of Asian men's basketball championships, China's champion dream was snapped. China, the defending champion only takes the fifth place this time. This is also the worst performance in 38 years since China joined the game in 1975.

   For the past years, fans have been used to being disappointed with the results given by our national teams. No one can doubt the essential fact that Chinese sports management system, full of lag and loopholes, over the past years has caused wide public concern all over the nation. People in increasing numbers are beginning to believe that such situation would produce unfavorable effects on development of sports. And countless games have proved it. However, what counts is solution. We know where the problem is, but the administration sections accomplish nothing about how to cope with it.
   At the same time, for the athletes, nothing is more important than their attitude. The negative attitude and unprofessional conducts are what fans resist and are angry at. We don’t extravagantly hope that they fight for the glory of our country but they can honor their vocations.
   Sadly, I have not learned to switch off and cannot pay no attention to the teams in spite of disappointment and anger; I am just a die-hard fan.

The word "football" in our country today even carries a negative implication, which is failure. Many people blame the coach for the poor performance. Undeniably, it is indeed one factor. Compared with other sports teams, we can often read numerous rumors and gossips of our national football team and players, which will intensify people's sense of dissatisfaction. No one is in born with success. Therefore, I firmly believe that success depends on constant efforts. To be sure, the future is not all rosy. But we should never give up our pursuit.

In love with football, I support Chinese football dream. However, it is the hateful corruption and bureaucratism of CFA, which is supposed to cultivate it, that obstructs its healthy growth. Not only does it dampen football fans' enthusiasm repeatedly, but also provokes their hatred again and again. Pell Blohm, once a foreign player of Dalian Wanda FC, says that "Chinese football is ravaged by the corruption and bureaucratism. It is painstaking for managers of football teams to do something freely, and reluctant though, they are often manipulated by politics." Three letters of apology is like a painkiller given by the one who bruises you, only increases anger. Although kicking a ball is obviously not a test of national virtue, but it do reflects the embarrassed condition of Chinese government.
