背景介绍：

今年夏天，各大卫视又开足马力各发奇招，试图在暑期市场抢占一席之地。惹得广电总局又忍不住出来“调停”。而河南卫视的一档名为“汉字英雄”（百科、网络版节目）异军突起，惹人关注。

看选手们在台上忙着写字的时候，观众们或许能够发现，那些常用的，手边的字却经常无法提笔准确的写出，不是这边少一横就是那边多一点。经常要借助手机、电脑等进行核对查找。而节目中出现的多为中小学生，这也不禁让人感慨自己语文水平实在是“惨不忍睹”。

范例1：

I always treat myself as the one who is not that keen on the communication through the Internet and who likes write something on the paper and also a calligraphy guy. But last week, when I turned on the TV and joined the program, I found the commitment made by myself is not true. I am unfamiliar with many words which should be used frequently. It took me quite a long time to write down some Chinese characters without any hesitation which finally be testified were wrong. This program liked the clock ringing besides my ears to remind me of the mistakes I have made.

At this electronic age, it is high time to leave aside your iphone, your ipad and your computer then pick up your pen to write down the characters you have forgot for a long time. Chinese characters are the most important part in our national culture and are the legacy we inherit from our ancestors which deserves to be protected well by us.

Chinese Characters, just like 26 letters in English, plays a significant part in the Chinese culture. However, with the spread of computers, more citizens forget how to write it. “Hanzi hero” differs from other programs like “The voice Of China” and it is an indigenous program. The program contributes in retrieving root of the country because Hanzi deliver different meaning like root in English. On contrast, it is beyond understanding that the reason the officials invite Gao Xiaosong to comment contestants for he is just a musician and he do not devoted to the field. From my suggestion, after the player writes down Hanzi, the commenter should introduce the story of it or recommend the way to memorize it.

In China, many people believe that one's handwriting is like one's face, showing his personalities. However, with the development of imformation techonology, many young people have been excellent in typing, rather than handwriting. As a unique part of Chinese culture, handwriting should be promoted, just as the new program did.
When I was a student in primary school, I always ignored handwriting. As a result, my handwriting is terrible and considerably difficult to improve. Everytime I have to write some words such as my name, I often write them at a much slower speed, trying my best to change my handwriting. Nonetheless, most of the time they turn out to be as ugly as usual. Obviously, the style of handwriting can only be formed by long-time cultivation.
After writing these words, I have made up my mind to buy a copy-book to improve my handwriting. In addtion to the enhancement of handwriting, the process of practicing is a good way of self-cultivation as well.
