一张搞笑的宝宝护照照片在网上走红,得到网友共鸣。
We know how you feel, young traveler. Welcome to the club.
When a father posted his five-month-old son’s passport photo online two weeks ago, the boy seemed to tap into a universal loathing of passport photos, which, as every traveler knows, always seem to capture you at your most awkward and unattractive.
“My wife took our five-month-old son to get his first passport photos taken—NAILED IT!” The father, who went by the username of “JorgeChurano,” wrote it as the caption for the picture, which shows the baby with his mouth open and one of his eyes closed sleepily.
“The outtakes were just too funny to keep to ourselves,” the father said.
The equally cute and funny image has received more than 110,000 views so far. Contributing to that is many people’s shared hatred towards passport photos.
No matter where you get your passport photo taken, the resulting image seems to terrify travelers everywhere, with many venting online about looking old or ugly. The “I hate my passport photo” Facebook page, for example, has 159,000 “likes.”
You’ll also find plenty of complaints on travel forums. “I looked like a very happy pig. I was smiling so big and wide, my cheeks looked huge and for some reason my face looked really round that day,” a poster wrote.
