Jason Segel, Michelle Williams and Matilda Ledger are becoming quite the happy family.

On July 14, the How I Met Your Mother actor, 32, the Take This Waltz actress, 31, and her daughter, 6, caught an afternoon showing of the Broadway musical Jersey Boys. They were later photographed shopping at a Duxiana bedding store in New York City.

The following afternoon, the trio dined on salad and veggies before strolling through Brooklyn, where Williams resides.

In the months after Us Weekly broke the news of the actors' coupling, Segel has become somewhat of a father figure to William's little girl (with the late Heath Ledger, who passed away in 2008). "He's been doing all sorts of 'dad stuff' with her, like drawing and playing music," a source explained.

Before The Muppets actor began pursuing Williams, "I never thought Jason would ever date someone with a kid," a Segel confidante told Us earlier this spring. "But he's taking everything in stride. He's ready to be a grown-up."

And how! Segel and Williams -- who met through mutual pal Busy Philipps, 33 -- "are totally in love," the source said. "Jason is obsessed with Michelle."
