In a recent Castle spoiler, TV Line's Michael Ausiello reveals that Castle and Beckett's new couple status may carry some hefty repercussions around the precinct … that is, should they decide to come forward with their relationship.

"It’ll be fun to see who finds out about them being together — who stays out of the loop and for how long and how they decide to reveal all of that,” Stana Katic said at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards on Monday. "That’s a big bombshell.”

While few would be shocked by the news — Ryan and Esposito are pretty much convinced they did the deed a long time ago — it could have the potential to kill their work dynamic. How would Captain Gates react upon learning that her best homicide detective is mixing business and pleasure? We shudder to think!

While we'd love nothing more than to see Castle and Beckett shout their love from the rooftops (preferably not while dangling over the side, of course), we advise them to heed with caution, at least in the beginning. Plus, just think of all that fun secret office sex they could have! But sooner or later, the truth will inevitably come out. Who will be the first to know?
