Bruce Willis has been photographed on the Budapest set of his latest John McClane outing A Good Day to Die Hard.

The action films marks Willis's fifth outing as the beleaguered New York cop, with the story taking him to Russia where he teams up with his son Jack (Jai Courtney) to take on Russian villains.

Patrick Stewart has recently been rumoured for the role of a disgraced Russian general, while Sebastian Koch, Amaury Nolasco and Cole Hauser are also said to be among the supporting cast.

Willis's last outing as McLane was in 2007's Die Hard 4.0. He also portrayed the character in Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995), Die Hard 2: Die Harder (1990) and Die Hard (1988).

Max Payne's John Moore is directing the movie based on a script from Skip Woods.

A Good Day to Die Hard opens in cinemas on February 14, 2013.
