The world renowned Barbie dolls will be coming to China soon. A touring exhibition featuring treasure collection of 1,000 Barbie Dolls will kick off in southwestern Chinese city of Chongqing next January.

A press release was held in Beijing on the upcoming tour on Tuesday. It declared that the exhibition, running through the whole year of 2008, would go to Qingdao, Changsha, Hangzhou, Kunming, Shanghai and Beijing.

The exhibition includes Barbie dolls made in the past 50 years starting in 1958.

国际在线消息（记者陈鹏）：9月4日上午，《珍藏版芭比娃娃展》巡回展新闻发布会在北京举行。展览由中国文物学会民族民俗文物专业委员会、德国MWS公司、新加坡最爱文化传播有限公司主办，将于2008年1月在重庆启动，并在青岛、长沙、杭州、昆明、上海、北京进行为期一年的巡回展览，展览的部分收入将用于当地的慈善事业。
