Congressman Leo Ryan [-----1-----] Guyana intending to investigate the People's Temple at Jonestown. The Reverend Jim Jones, who many temple members believed to be God, orders that Ryan and 4 other Americans [-----2-----]. A day later, U.S. troops discover a recording in which Jones, dead of a [-----3-----] bullet wound, had persuaded his followers to drink a potassium cyanide death [-----4-----].
