On October 19, 1931, Al Capone is convicted of Tax evasion.

October 19th, 1931, Chicago gangland [-----1-----] Al Capone, [-----2-----] "Scarface," is [-----3-----] by Federal prosecutors. Famous for the St. Valentine's Day Massacre and other gang war bloodbaths, Capone has managed to slip free of such charges in court. Upon moving from Brooklyn in 1920, he rose from a two-bit bootlegger to the [-----4-----] warlord of Chicago gangsters. But a federal judge finally sentenced him to 11 years for, [-----5-----], tax evasion. Long after his death, IRS agents were still after Capone, when a large vault was discovered beneath his former headquarters. Nothing was found but an empty liquor bottle, at this time, Scarface owing $800,000 in back taxes, escaped the Tax Man.
