From the Caribbean to the New England Coast, Black Sam Bellamy's pirate ship Whydah [-----1-----] at least 52 ships before sinking in a fierce storm in 1717. 267 years later, an underwater team led by archeologist Barry Clifford discovered the vessel off Cape Cod, sunk in 25 feet of water. Sophisticated underwater detection equipment helped [-----2-----] and lowered sand blowers facillitated the excavation. Clifford's team recovered bullion, jewels and many other [-----3-----], including the clothing and bones of the pirates. On September 25, 1987, treasures from the Whydah were [-----4-----]. It was estimated that Black Sam's booty was worth more than $400 million dollars.
