The Resignation of Richard Milhouse Nixon
Richard Milhouse Nixon, the first American President who [-----1-----], gained national attentions as a Communist [-----2-----] on the House Un-American Activities Committee.
In 1952, Dwight Eisenhower kept him as his running mate [--3(短句)--]. In 1960, Nixon narrowly lost the [-----4-----] to John Kennedy but came back to win in 1968. He was re-elected by a [-----5-----] in 1972 before the Watergate scandal forced his resignation.
"You are here to say goodbye to us and we don't [-----6-----] ——the best is au revoir. We'll see you again."
