On August 4, 1944 - Anna Frank is abducted by the Gestapo.


When she was 4, her German family escaped the Nazi terror by [-----1-----] Amsterdam. But Hitler's invasion of Holland forced a move to a warehouse, now called the Anne Frank house. Anne shared this secret annex with her family and four others. Neccessarily silent by day, [-----2-----] 14-year-old discovered her [-----3-----] through writing.

"We see the world being turned to wilderness, and hear the ever approaching thunder. Yet if I look up into the heavens, I think this cruelty too will end and peace and tranquility will return again."

On August 4, 1944 the Gestapo [-----4-----] the living, but failed to notice the diary of a young girl, the purest literary [-----5-----] of 6 million Jews, including Anne herself, silenced in the Holocaust.
