〖The Emergency Room〗
A: Most hospitals are divided into sections that include an emergency ____1____ open 24 hours a day, ____2____ medicine, a ____3____ ____4____ , surgery, and the intensive care ward. This hospital also has two extra sections——one for ____5____ , and one for ____6____ . We are one of the leading hospitals treating cancer patients in the region.
B: Wow. My brother is studying medicine——he wants to be a ____7____ someday.
B: A noble goal! Let me show you the emergency room——it's the most exciting, most hectic place in the hospital.
A: So how does the process work here?
B: Well, patients come in off the street with all sorts of injuries or health problems: broken bones, car accident injuries, you name it!
A: It must get pretty scary in here!
B: Yes, it does. We have the most trouble keeping people calm. Family members who accompany the patients tend to get ____8____ and can sometimes prevent us from efficiently treating the patients. So sometimes we have to ask them to stay in the waiting room.
A: I'm not very familiar with the ____9____ system here. Can anyone get medical treatment?
B: That is a very good question. It's a serious social problem here because while most people receive health insurance through their jobs, many people either are not offered insurance through their company or can't afford it.
A: What happens then? Do they just die?
B: Oh, no! The government has a health insurance program but only some people qualify for it. So the rest go without health insurance which can create some very expensive hospital ____10____ .
A: Boy am I glad my job provides health insurance benefits!

ward internal maternity ward pediatrics oncology surgeon hysterical healthcare bills
A: 是的。 A: 哦,不!
