Internet frenzies continue to follow the British Royal Wedding in April.

The latest fervor surrounds the hat worn by the groom's cousin, Princess Beatrice. Her unique accouterment has become an online sensation, attracting both approval and disdain on social media sites.

The Princess is now using the publicity to help two of her favorite charities -- UNICEF and Children In Crisis -- by auctioning the hat on the Internet.

Both organizations work to improve living conditions for youngsters around the world. A number of hefty online offers were submitted by Wednesday evening, with the highest at 19-thousand pounds.

Princess Beatrice says she hopes the winner will have as much fun with the headpiece as she has. Bidding closes on Sunday.
