芬兰媒体的自由度非常高，政府也很清廉透明。

目前芬兰和丹麦、新西兰一起被认为是全球最清廉的3个国家。

Due to its commitment to equal rights and emphasis on transparency, Finland’s press has been rated the freest one in the world. Transparency International, based in Berlin, has rated Finland since 1998 as the world’s least corrupt country. Finland’s Corruption Perception Index has also been one of the highest 3 in the world, aside from Denmark and New Zealand.
由于芬兰对平等权利的承诺和对透明度的重视，芬兰媒体被评为世界上最自由的媒体。总部位于柏林的透明国际自1998年以来一直将芬兰列为世界上最清廉的国家。芬兰的清廉指数也位居全球前三，另外两个国家为丹麦和新西兰。
