Expressing emotion is good, but there are limits.
表达情感是可取的,但不要太情绪化。

 

Examiner: Describe a person who has had a big effect on your life.
考官:谈一谈一个给你的生活带来巨大影响的人。

You should say how you met that person and why that person had such an impact on your life.
你需要阐述你与这个人是如何相识的,为什么他/她给你的生活带来巨大影响。

Candidate: My girlfriend.
考生:我的女朋友。

Ex-girlfriend really.
事实上是前女友。

We were together for 6 months. She didn’t go along so well with my father.
我们在一起半年。她和我的父亲相处不大融洽。

She manipulated me into hate my own father as well. And…
她操控我,也让我讨厌自己的父亲。然后……

then... he hated me and then he left home. All these feelings of jealousy come up and you kind of…
我的父亲也开始对我不满,他还离家出走。猜忌等各种情绪涌上来……

you’re angry all the time because who’s that boy… who’s you.
我从始自终都很愤怒……开始质疑这个人是谁……自己是谁。

It was unbelievable guilt... and it wasn’t my fault. I didn’t know that…
我觉得非常非常内疚……但这不是我的错。我不知道……

Examiner: Thank you. Thank you. Hmm… do you think… shopping has a negative impact on your society?
考官:谢谢。谢谢。嗯……你是否认为购物给你的生活带来消极影响?

 

Don’t talk about something that might make you over-emotional.
不要谈论会让你太过情绪化的事。
