相比传统博客，以“短、灵、快”为特点的“微博”几乎不需要很高成本，只需三言两语，就可记录下自己某刻的心情、某一瞬的感悟，如今可谓十分流行。如今又有个词叫“微访”，你知道是什么意思吗？

我们今天要说的这个“微访”，可不是什么“微服私访”的简称啦，这是从“微博”（点击学习 微博英语怎么说>>>）中延伸出来的一个新词。

“微访”是什么意思？

Like real-life Twitter, this is a quick meeting with someone, usually a friend, which takes 140 seconds or less. Often there is only time to greet the other person and to pass the time of day. （就像现实生活中的微博一样，微访通常是指和朋友短暂地碰面，时间不超过140秒。）

例句: Nick came over the other day but sadly he only had time for a microvisit, leaving almost as soon as he'd arrived. 

上句中,“microvisit”就是“微访”的意思。

另外，“the other day”是指“前些日子，前几天”。比如说：Here're the documents they sent me the other day. （这是他们前些日子给我寄来的担保书。）

那我们在前文提到的“微服私访”，该怎么说呢？

这为清宫剧做出了卓越贡献的“微服私访”就是“incognito visit”了。“incognito”表示“改名的，匿名的”。比如：The prince travelled incognito to avoid crowds and ceremonies. 王子微服旅行以避开人群及避免欢迎仪式。
