BP officials say undersea robots have taken off the existing cap and oil is now gushing freely into the gulf. The company’s hope is to fit a tighter dome that will funnel more oil to collection ships upon the surface.

Probation and jail records show that the 57-year-old man charged with 10 murders in the Grim Sleeper case has been arrested on various charges many times before. In fact, records show he was detained at least 15 times over 4 decades and was even in police custody after the killings began.

A ship that was supposed to take goods to Gaza is instead going to Egypt. Previous aid ships had been detained by Israeli forces. This one is carrying 2,000 tons of food and medical supplies.

The “King” is coming down in Cleveland. Saturday, crews began work on removing a mass mural of LeBron James. Thursday, the basketball star announced he was leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers to play in Miami.
