It was his second performance in the "Bird’s Nest". He was impressed by the iconic architecture when he performed at the Closing Ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.

Wang said, " The moment I stepped in the stadium in 2008, I was astounded by its size. I have been singing in so many stadiums, but never as large as this one. Seeing 100,000 people waving their hands and singing also with me, I could feel my blood boiling. Still Wang promised his music will be the same wherever the stage is.
Wang’s global music tour in 2012 will take him to other Chinese cities, including Guangzhou, Nanning and Wuhan.
