A tsunami warning has been lifted in Japan. It was issued after a magnitude 7 aftershock rattled the country's northeast. The warning came as Japan observes the one-month anniversary of the massive earthquake and tsunami that killed as many as 25-thousand people.

Moammar Gadhafi is reportedly backing a cease-fire effort by members of the African Union. The A.U. committee met with Gadhafi Sunday in Libya's capital and travels to Benghazi today to meet with Gadhafi's opposition. Some rebels say there can be no cease-fire without Gadhafi's departure.

Texas firefighters are hoping to see better weather conditions as they fight wildfires that have burned 400 square miles. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 miles an hour kept air tankers from being used. One fast-moving wildfire in west Texas has destroyed dozens of homes.

South African Charl Schwartzel won the Masters Sunday, beating Adam Scott and Jason Day by two strokes. Schwartzel was impressive down the stretch with birdies on the last four holes. The South African finished in style with a 20-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole.
