翻译：他同他们在一起过了几十年。
老外很爱用decades十年，即使不是像这里是不确定的年份的情况，三十年也会说是three decades而不是thirty years。
【2】Above all, the law.
翻译：法律是他们最看重的。
above all表示最重要的是，跟我们平时写作用这个词组不一样，这里是用来修饰前面半句里的respect for。
【3】we keep the existence of our kind a secret.
翻译：保守我类存在的秘密。
keep sth a secret 保守秘密
【4】She'll come for me one day
翻译：总有一天她会来找我。
come for sb. 为某人而来。或者也有说come for sth.的，come for tea就是来喝茶。
【5】You're my only reason to stay alive, if that's what I am
翻译：你是我活着的唯一理由，如果我还算是活着的话。
因为其实吸血鬼并不是真的alive，算是个活死人，所以说if that's what I am。
