能住人的地方非常少

埃及的人口非常集中，几乎全都集中在尼罗河沿岸，因为除了这里其他地方基本都是沙漠。（剩下的一点点人住在零星的几个绿洲，以及海岸一带）

埃及的降雨量非常少，所以尼罗河可以说是货真价实的母亲河，整个埃及几乎全靠它。

Egypt is the 15th country with the highest population in the world, with 99% of the country’s people living on just 5.5% of the land. Approximately 95% of Egypt’s population lives along the banks of river Nile, which is known to be the longest river on the globe. Egypt is largely covered by a desert, receiving only 20mm of rain per year. 
埃及的人口数量在世界上排名第十五位，99%的埃及人生活在埃及5.5%的陆地上。约95%的埃及人生活在尼罗河沿岸，众所周知，尼罗河是世界上最长的河流。埃及大部分地区被沙漠所覆盖，其每年的降雨量只有20毫米。
