President Bush is warning the entire economy is in danger if a 700-billion dollar Wall Street bailout isn’t approved quickly. In a brief TV address, Bush invited Barack Obama and John McCain to attend a meeting later today to go over the administration’s plan.

GOP presidential hopeful John McCain says he won’t debate Barack Obama Friday unless lawmakers have agreed on the President’s proposed bailout package. But Obama says the debate is even more important now. And he says the candidates should be able to do two things at once.

Police in north Florida say a tractor-trailer driver was on his cell phone when he slammed into the back of a school bus Tuesday. A 13-year-old girl was killed. Nine other students were injured - two of them critically.

A report into how 8 inmates got out of a jail in eastern New Mexico has found they were helped when a corrections officer left a key in the lock of a door. A district attorney reviewing the report says there is no sign the prisoners were helped intentionally. But four inmates are still missing, including a convicted killer and a murder suspect.
