（2）Telecommute or Telecommuting

Again, like "work at/from home" these are very popular keywords that may or may not be read interchangeably by job databases. Experimenting with the sites where you are searching for a job online will tell you if one is better than the other.


和上一组词语一样，这两个也是非常受欢迎但不一定所有的工作数据库都认同交换使用的关键词。在你经常搜索的网站上多试几次你就会知道哪一个比较好用。

Both "telecommute" and "work at home" are popular with legitimate employers, and will often bring up completely different sets of job listings. The keyword "telecommute" often brings up more employment situations rather than business opportunities like "work at home." Work at/from home is also a little bit more likely to bring up work-at-home scams.

但是，传统的雇主都比较中意"telecommute" 和"work at home"，并且这两组关键词会得到完全不同的工作列表。而关键词"telecommute"得出的搜索结果更多的是就业情况，这与利用"work at home"搜索得出的结果更多的是商机并不同。使用”Work at/from home”这一组关键词搜索也很有可能会碰到一些在家就业的骗局。

Unfortunately, telecommuting can also bring up jobs listed as "no telecommuting."

不幸的是，关键词“telecommuting”的搜索结果可能也有和远程办公完全无关的工作。

（3）Virtual or Remote

“虚拟”或“遥远”

Virtual and remote are not as common at telecommute or work at home, but are still frequently used to describe jobs online. They are often paired with the words "office" or "position," but it's best just to search for them alone

“虚拟”和“遥远”这一组词虽然没有像“远程办公”以及“在家工作”应用得那么广泛，但是网络上也经常用来对工作要求进行描叙。虽然这组词语经常和“办公室”或“职位”等关键词成对出现，但是在搜索的时候最好单独使用。

（4）Freelance or Consulting

Not all freelance positions are home-based, but many are. If you're an independent contractor looking for work in your field, these are good keywords to try when searching for a job online. Also give both freelance and freelancing a try, but "consult" is not likely to give good results.

不是所有的自由职业都是可以在家里工作的，但还是有些是的。如果你是独立的合同人，想在你的专业领域找一份工作的话，这些都是在搜索在线工作时很好用的关键词。两个词都试试，但是使用“咨询”这个词却不太可能得到什么好结果。


（5）Home-Based

以家庭为主的

Home-based is definitely not as popular as the others but it may be we worth a try. Most job listings use the grammatically correct hyphenated version of this key word but you might also give "home based" without the hyphen a try.

“以家庭为主的”这个关键词当然没有前面的受用，但是也还是值得试一试的。很多工作列表中可能采用带破折号的正确语法书写形式，但是你用该词搜索的时候也可以不用破折号。
