The U.S. and China are committing to a process aimed at ridding North Korea of it nuclear weapons. Secretary of State John Kerry is in Beijing for talks. He and his Chinese counterpart say they will seek a peaceful resolution of the North Korean nuclear standoff.
 
President Barack Obama turned over his weekly address to the mother of a child killed in the shooting at Sandy Hook elementary school. Francis Wheeler pleaded for action to combat gun violence.
 
And this Lincoln, Nebraska bus driver has been fired. Surveillance video shows him assaulting a passenger and dragging him off the bus.
