Penn State football coach Joe Paterno says he will retire at the end of the season. Paterno also says he is absolutely devastated after a long-time assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was charged molesting eight boys.

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has planned to leave office as soon as parliament approves economic reforms. Greece’s political parties are also forming new government. Both countries are wrestling with major economic crisis.

Iran vows to keep pushing ahead with its nuclear program. However, the country still denies it's trying to develop nuclear weapons, despite the U.N. report detailing its weapons related advances.

And Toyota is recalling about 550,000 cars, mostly in the U.S. The cars have problems that could affect steering. No accidents have been connected to the problem.
