Twenty years ago, Bono and his U2 bandmates released "Achtung Baby," an album that is now considered one of the most significant in the band's long career. The album won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance and became one of the most significant records of the nineties and of U2's career.

To mark twenty years since its November 19th, 1991 release, an anniversary edition of Achtung Baby was re-released internationally on October 31st.

Recorded over six months in Berlin and Dublin, "Achtung Baby" was U2's seventh studio album and sold 18 million copies worldwide. Recording the album was not an easy road for the band, they struggled through creative impasses and internal friction, which nearly derailed the group. They ultimately landed on the same page, and credit the writing of the hit song "One" as the breakthrough moment that pulled the band back together.

From the album came five singles: "Mysterious Ways," "One," "Even Better Than The Real Thing," "The Fly" and "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses."

The re-released box set of "Achtung Baby" includes B-sides, demos, remixes and some unreleased tracks.
