2010年7月，科普作家方舟子指新华都集团总裁唐骏学历造假。“学历门”事件过去10个月后，昨天，有媒体报道称唐骏透露花费3000多美元获得了美国西太平洋博士学位。对此，方舟子通过微博表示，“唐骏又开始讲故事了”。

昨日，《IT时代周刊》报道称，唐骏还原其在美国的求学经历，承认花费3000多美元获得了美国西太平洋博士学位。唐骏助理李欣昨日表示，上述媒体报道内容只是唐骏与该媒体总编的一番私人对话，并非公开采访，而对于学历门事件，“唐骏此前已经与我达成默契，不再公开谈论此事”。

据上述媒体的报道，唐骏选择西太平洋大学的理由是：“从校方资料来看，这所学校各方面条件都很正规，更重要的是该校还获加州政府的认可”。在美国，只有通过州政府的审批才能办学。1993年，唐骏申请了这所学校。唐骏称西太平洋大学“是根据课程的数量收钱的，我有很多课都不用修，一般人可能需要一两万”。 1995年，唐骏拿到博士学位。

对此，方舟子通过微博表示，“唐骏又开始讲故事了。西太平洋大学不是野鸡大学，花3000美元买的学位，还不是野鸡？”

唐骏文凭造假一事去年在网上闹的沸沸扬扬，今天又爆出了最新消息，看来风波还将继续啊……小编这就八卦的带大家来回顾一下整个事件^^

Tang Jun is now serving as president and Chief Executive Officer in Xin Hua Du Industrial Group Co., a group company incorporated in the PRC covering retail, real estate, mining, high-tech and tourism industries with a subsidiary already listed both in Hong Kong Stock Exchange and in PRC A-shares market and a subsidiary to be listed in PRC A-shares market in the year of 2008.

他是中国著名的职业经理人，有“打工皇帝”之称。曾是微软中国终身荣誉主席，盛大集团总裁。现任国内集零售、地产、矿业、科技、旅游于一体的新华都集团总裁兼首席执行官，公司在香港和内地都有上市。

只能说，背景太华丽丽了！想不红也难哪！

接着我们再来回顾下去年沸沸扬扬的文凭造假是怎么回事：

In 2010, Tang Jun became the focus of public controversy over his resume. In several of his writings, Tang claimed to hold a doctoral degree in computer science from California Institute of Technology (Caltech). However, Fang Zhouzi checked Caltech's alumni list and lists of doctoral dissertations, and found no records for Tang.

唐骏此前声称自己有加州理工大学的计算机博士学位，然而却被方舟子挖掘出加州理工大学校友名单和博士论文里都没有唐骏的名字。

Fang also discovered that some technical inventions which Tang claimed credit were listed in patent databases as having been invented by other people. Fang accused Tang of fabricating his credentials. Tang later admitted that he did not have a degree from Caltech, and asserted that he had never claimed to have received a degree there, but only conducted research there. He also admitted that he had never gotten any doctorate degree from Nagoya University.

方舟子还发现，唐骏此前声称拥有的专利都是由他人发明的。方舟子揭露唐骏文凭造假。随后唐骏承认，自己并没有加州理工大学的学位，只是在那里做过研究罢了，同时也承认自己没有获得日本名古屋大学的博士学位。

Fang asked Tang to provide information about the kind of research and the names of professors at Caltech Tang had worked with. So far, Tang has not provided any relevant information. It raises the question whether Tang has ever conducted any research at Caltech.

不过方舟子继续穷追不舍，要求唐骏提供所做研究的证明及合作教授名称。显然唐骏拿不出手。

Furthermore, Fang has also pointed out that Pacific Western University was named a diploma mill by the United States Government General Accounting Office in a report to the United States Congress.

八卦还不止这些，方舟子指出，唐骏所读的美国西太平洋大学实为美国相关部门认定的野鸡学校……

“唐骏持有西太平洋大学的电子工程博士学位，日本名古屋大学的电子学硕士和博士学位，以及北京邮电学院的物理学学士学位。”究竟有多少含金量，恐怕也只有当事人知道了。
