Q: I wonder what's the most popular food besides turkey on thanksgiving day?
A: Most families have something called stuffing. Stuffing is a kind of bread and vegetable mixture that you put inside the bird and cook.
除了火鸡外，大多数家庭还会吃stuffing，就是填塞在火鸡里烹调的面包与蔬菜的混合物啦~
Q: I have no idea how big a turkey is. How many can one turkey feed?
A: An average sized turkey is actually about 15 pounds, so it's very heavy. And when my families have thanksgiving dinner, one turkey is enough to feed maybe 15 people and still have turkey to eat the next week.
一只普通的火鸡有15磅之重，15人吃都绰绰有余！
Q: How Americans celebrate thanksgiving?
A: Thanksgiving is usually celebrated by having a meal. And when my family celebrates thanksgiving, everybody sits at the table, says one thing that they are thankful for. So that's how my family celebrates.

Q: What's your plan for thanksgiving?
A: I have a couple of plans. First, one of my Chinese friends is going to learn how to cook a thanksgiving dinner. So we'll get together and I'll teach him how to cook. And also I'll be getting together with some American friends and celebrating with them this weekend.
Alison对于今年的感恩节有不少计划。首先要教一个中国朋友如何烧感恩节大餐，另外还要和美国朋友们一起聚会。
Q: What about vegetarians? What do you eat if you don't eat meat?
A: There's something called a Tofurky, which is a turkey made of tofu. So a lot of people eat that. Also some people use nuts instead of meat and they make a loaf.
不吃肉的家伙感恩节吃啥捏？原来还有豆腐做的火鸡！！
Q: Do people still have to work on thanksgiving day?
A: Thanksgiving is a national holiday. That means that nobody works on thanksgiving day. Of course, if you work in a restaurant and the restaurant stays open, you have to work.
感恩节是美国的国定节日，所以大家都是不用工作的啦。当然如果你是在餐厅干的那就不一定了……
Q: Alison, we all know that you are very good at Chinese. Can you say something about thanksgiving in Chinese?
A: I wish that I could talk about thanksgiving in Chinese, but I haven't learnt how to say I love to spend time with my family. Maybe you can teach me.

Q: If there's any TV program that is associated with thanksgiving day?
A: There's is the Thanksgiving Day Macy's Parade that takes place in New York city and that is on TV all day. So lots of people watch that.
纽约有感恩节游行活动，而且电视上会全天直播，所以很多人都会在感恩节那天看这个~
Q: Is there anything besides food in thanksgiving?
A: Yes, actually varies. Thanksgiving is the very popular time for people to volunteer, to give their time and money to charities.
感恩节也不只是吃饭啦，比如它还是献出时间和金钱来进行义务服务的热门时间哦。
Q: If parents give presents to children?
A: No. Nobody really give presents on thanksgiving. Sometimes people send cards in email, but usually no presents.
虽然有时人们会在感恩节赠送贺卡，但是不会送什么真正实质性的礼物，所以别想在这天从父母那儿得到东西啦。
Q: If I want to celebrate thanksgiving with my friends, what should I prepare?
A: Usually if you want to celebrate with your friends, you cook the meat and the potatoes, and then everyone else brings their favorate dish to share.
如果想要和朋友一起庆祝感恩节，那你只需准备好肉和土豆，然后让其他人带来自己喜欢的菜肴一起分享就好了。
Q: Do schools and companies have time off on Black Friday?
A: The answer is Yes for schools and No for companies. But a lot of people take Friday as a holiday, so they can stay at home and rest after thanksgiving.
“黑色星期五”这天学校会放假，但是公司是不放假的。不过很多人会把周五作为休息日，那样他们可以在感恩节后呆在家里好好休息一下。
Q: If people decorate the houses for thanksgiving?
A: Yes. People love to decorate their houses in fall colors like reds, and oranges, and yellows, lots of leaves and turkeys everywhere.
感恩节的时候人们也会对自己的家做一番装饰，他们常常喜欢选用红色、橙色、黄色之类属于秋天的色彩，在家里到处点缀上叶子和火鸡~
Q: How to say happy thanksgiving to their foreign teachers?
A: The answer is you can say "Happy Thanksgiving". This is the only thing Americans say to each other.
如何祝福外国老师感恩节快乐？一句简单的"Happy Thanksgiving"就可以啦，美国人之间也只说这句话呵呵。
