The Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki has hinted that Leonard and Penny could get engaged.

Leonard (Galecki) accidentally proposed to his girlfriend (Kaley Cuoco) in the sitcom's fifth season, but she turned him down, though the pair continued dating.
在第五季时，莱纳德意外地向女朋友佩妮求婚了，但是遭到拒绝，不过他们还是继续在一起。

"Next week we start shooting the Valentine's Day episode," Galecki told The Hollywood Reporter. "It's a big one for Leonard and Penny - there might be somebody getting down on one knee."
“下周我们要拍摄情人节特辑，”盖尔克奇告诉《好莱坞报道》，“这对于莱纳德和佩妮来说意义非凡——有人要单膝下跪（意指求婚）了。”

The actor added that the "ball is still in [Penny's] court" when it comes to the couple's romantic future.

"The last couple of seasons have really been about her emotional inabilities," he claimed. "It's made that character of Penny a well-rounded one, and you'd assume it would always be Leonard's fault, but he's been a pretty good partner to her."

Galecki and Cuoco previously told Digital Spy that they believe Penny and Leonard will ultimately end up together.

"I do feel that way," Cuoco said. "I feel that down the line I'd love to see them together - maybe not right now, but down the line."
