1 what引导的主语从句

2 that引导的主语从句

that引导主语从句时，无意义，不作成分，只起连接作用。不可省略。

That you are so indifferent bothers me.你如此冷淡使我很烦恼。

That she survived the accident is a miracle.她在事故中幸免于难简直是个奇迹。

3 Whether/if引导的主语从句

whether引导的主语从句可放句首或句末，但if引导的主语从句只能放在句尾，前面需用it作形式主语。

Whether she is coming or not doesn’t matter too much.他来不来都无关紧要。

It is unknown whether/if he has agreed to my plan. 不知道他是否已同意我的计划。

4 when/where/why/how引导的主语从句

这四个词起连接作用，有含义，可充当状语。

Why they suddenly disappeared stills remains a mystery. 它们为什么突然消失还是个谜。

5 it作形式主语的主语从句

1)It is/was +形容词+主语从句

It is quite likely that there will be a storm. 很可能要有暴风雨。

2)It is/was +名词+主语从句

It is a good thing when we shall have our sports meeting.

什么时候举行运动会还是个问题。

3)It is/was/has been +过去分词+主语从句

It has been decided where we are to hold the meeting.我们开会的地点已经决定了。

4)It +不及物动词(seems/happens/appears…)+主语从句

It happened that I wasn’tthere that day. 碰巧那天我不在那儿。

It seems that he’s been here for several years.好像他已在这儿好几年了。

1)当主语从句出现在感叹句中时，一般用it作形式主语

What a pity it is that you can’t stay for dinner!你不能留下来吃饭多遗憾啊!

2)在“It doesn’t matter how/whether …”结构中it作形式主语

It doesn’t matter whether he is wrong or not. 他是对还是错没多大关系。
