Newt Gingrich says he is committed to campaigning very intensely for the White House. His words come just a day after the mass resignation of his top campaign staff over strategic differences. Friday, Gingrich vowed to continue with a non-traditional campaign.

A trove of Sarah Palin e-mails have been released to the public. Reporters and others are poring through thousands of pages of e-mails sent and received by her during her first 21 months as governor.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates is questioning the viability of NATO. He says too many member nations are not contributing enough money and troops to the alliance and that the U.S. is shouldering too many of the responsibilities.

Olympic champion Janet Evans is ready to get back into the pool. The 39-year-old swimmer wants to return to the Olympics after leaving swimming in 1996.
