沪江娱乐快讯：以《神探夏洛克》中的大侦探福尔摩斯形象广受剧迷喜爱而被称为“卷福”的Benedict Cumberbatch近日被传与27岁的美国模特Lydia Hearst-Shaw相交甚密。据NowDaily网站消息，两人在去年一同出席了金球奖的提名晚会，又在Elton John的艾滋病基金会晚宴上坐在一起。据悉这位名叫Lydia的模特来头可不小，她是美国传媒巨头William Randolph Hearst的曾外孙女。Benedict的发言人表示他俩是非常亲密的朋友，认识很久了。但是非要说两人谈恋爱，有点太“strong”了。其实两人早在2010年就一同为为英国版《嘉人》（Marie Claire）杂志拍摄过杂志大片（下一页幻灯组图）。两人看上去还是很登对的，要是真的谈恋爱了也不错。

Benedict Cumberbatch, the British actor who plays Sherlock Holmes in the BBC series, has struck up a “very close” friendship with Lydia Hearst, the daughter of newspaper heiress Patty Hearst, it has emerged.

The 35 year-old, who has won hordes of fans in the hit series based on the stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, has been seen at numerous Hollywood parties with the 27-year-old model over the past month.

The pair were seated together at the 20th annual Elton John Aids Foundation Oscars Academy Awards viewing party on Sunday night, it was reported.

It comes after the former "Supermodel of the Year”, who uses the surname Hearst in her professional life but was born Hearst-Shaw, was observed with Cumberbatch last month at a Vanity Fair party Cecconi's, the Hollywood restaurant.

The pair reportedly arrived and left together and she happily posed for pictures with Cumberbatch's arm wrapped around her.

On Wednesday, a spokesman for Cumberbatch confirmed his client was “very close” friends with Miss Hearst, whose mother was kidnapped in the 1970s.

“They have been friends (for) a while now, but to say they are dating is probably too strong,” he told the Daily Mail.

Cumberbatch is being courted by Hollywood after appearing in Oscar-nominated films Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Warhorse. He is currently in the U.S. to film the Star Trek sequel, in which he plays a "baddy".

His decade-long relationship with actress Olivia Poulet, whom he met at Manchester University, ended almost a year ago.

Miss Hearst, from Connecticut, became the new face of lingerie company Myla in 2008, in which she posed in a range of silk and satin underwear for the brand's autumn-winter collection. She has also dabbled in acting.

Her first cover shoot was with renowned photographer Stephen Meisel in April 2004 for Italian Vogue. She has worked with some of the world's greatest names, including Mario Testino, Mark Abrams and Terry Richardson.

Her work was a far cry from the famous picture her mother posed for after she joined her captors, the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA).
