There is a saying that the deadline is the ultimate inspiration. Perhaps this resonates with procrastinators around the world. What is the deadline for? How are people handling this deadline? Did they manage to get it done before time ran out?

Suggestions:
1) students trying to submit assignments electronically before the mid-night deadline; a sudden power outage or server failure
2) explosive experts trying to defuse the bomb before time runs out
3) one person already submitted the work way ahead of time; currently sitting in the office, amused by the frantic acts of the colleagues trying to catch the deadline

By the time he looked up from the computer, it was already well past midnight. Since there would be an early meeting the following day, Sean decided to stay over at the laboratory instead of returning home. It was a good thing he had a hearty dinner. With a bit of food leftover food, his breakfast was taken cared of. He had done this once in a while, when he had to catch a tight deadline. In his drawer was a clean set of clothes, along with basic toiletries. It was also convenient that showers were available downstairs in the gym.
